Disney+ Christmas Movie Classics

December 10, 2019

ONIT Concierge works with new home owners to connect their utilities and home services including TV & INTERNET. This year, with the addition of Apple's new streaming service, and the Disney+ app dominating the market, there are more options than ever when it comes to movie viewing at home. While a majority of our customers sign up for cable or satellite tv, an increasing number of our customers are requesting faster internet speeds and opt to go with a variety of streaming services for entertainment.

Disney+ has an impressive catalog of content, and has already made its mark as a solid content producer. They are seeing major interest in their new original series like The Mandalorian (#babyyoda) and rebirths and creative spins like the High School Musical, The Musical, The Series.

The Disney back-catalog will also include:

  • EVERY STAR WARS MOVIE EVER MADE; excluding the Light Day Special... thanks to Youtube, we can all still view this monstrosity -

If you DON'T want to get face cramps laughing (and cringing) at the Star Wars Holiday Special, Disney is also offering an impressive catalog of Christmas and Holiday movies that will keep you entertained well into the new year.

Grab some popcorn, some hot cocoa and make sure your internet connection can handle the streaming that is about to go down! Here are some of the Christmas movies available on Disney+ on their inaugural holiday season!

Noelle: This is the very latest Disney Christmas movie - Kris Kringle's daughter is full of Christmas spirit and holiday fun, but wishes she could do something "important" like her beloved brother Nick, who will take over for their father this Christmas.

The Santa Clause (1-3): They are showing the entire series, which begins with Tim Allen taking on the mantle of Santa Claus after unknowingly accepting the terms of The Santa Clause. This series starts in 1994 and ends in 2006, with the cast reprising roles throughout the 12 years of production.

Muppet Christmas Carol: Charles Dickens Classic, A Christmas Carol told by the Muppet characters we all know and love - and some humans in there for good measure.

Mickey's Christmas Carol: Another depiction of A Christmas Carol but this time starring Mickey, Donald and Uncle Scrooge playing his character namesake. If you are Duck Tales fan from the 80's and 90's, this is a must see every year!

Babes In Toyland: This movie came out in 1961 and is a timeless classic, starring Annette Funicello... minus the beach blanket.

Home Alone: Kevin McAllister is left alone at his suburban Chicago home, only to become the target of a bumbling duo of burglars. One of the best family Christmas Movies made for the Gen X & Millennial generations... outside of Gremlins and Die Hard.

If you are moving into a new home and need to know what home services are available, be sure to contact ONIT Concierge. We can connect you with the best deals and lowest rates on cable, satellite and internet services.
